SSE4.2

One of the requirements for installing Windows 11 from version 24H2 is that the target device's processor supports SSE4.2. Unlike other hardware requirements for the current Windows 11 version, this condition cannot be bypassed. But how do you find out whether a device supports SSE4.2?

Answer: With a free utility that checks your hardware. One of several options for this is CPU-Z, which you can download free of charge here:

https://download.cpuid.com/cpu-z/cpu-z_2.14-en.exe

If CPU-Z lists SSE4.2 under Instructions, your device is ready for Windows 11. If there are still difficulties, the Windows 11 Ultra Stick can help.
