Free Upgrade to Windows 10 Set to Expire

The option to activate Windows 10 with a license for Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 is apparently set to expire on 31 December 2017. This is based on an update of the Microsoft website for an upgrade tool that is still available free of charge:

For the time being, the free upgrade is still available via this tool. You can purchase new, unused licenses for Windows 8.1 and 7, which allow a free upgrade to Windows 10, in our shop for only EUR 22.90 (Windows 8.1 Professional) or EUR 12.90 (Windows 7 Professional).
