Microsoft now requires a Microsoft account for the installation of Windows 11, not only in the Home version but also in the Pro version. There are many reasons for setting up such a free account - but there are also reasons against it. We think: everyone should make their own decision.
Normally, a Microsoft account is also required for the activation of Microsoft Office from version 2019 onwards. However, we can currently offer OEM licences Office 2019 Home & Business for around 60 euros that do not require a Microsoft account for activation. The stock should last at least until May 2023.
Besides that, Office 2016 can always be used without a Microsoft account. The Home & Student version with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote costs just under 20 euros. If you also need Outlook or Access, you pay 18 euros more for each.

Installing Windows 11 without a Microsoft account is difficult, and there is no longer a Windows 11 version that officially does without the Microsoft account. The video shows how to do it anyway.
