A change from Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 to Windows 10 is still possible free of charge, contrary to statements made by Microsoft employees to the contrary. It works like this:
Download Windows 10 from the download area of our online shop or from https://www.software-downloads.net With the download (media creation tool) you create an installation medium for your Windows version on a USB data pen, e.g. Windows 10 Pro if you are using Windows 7 Professional, or Windows 10 Home if your version is Windows 7 Home Premium. Start the media creation tool on the computer running the old version of Windows and select the upgrade option with your data retained.
During the installation process, Windows 10 reads your old Windows license. If everything is fine and this license has not been used for product activation on multiple computers, Windows 10 will be activated regularly with this license - at no cost to you.
If you have installed Microsoft Office on your computer under the old operating system, this installation remains in place and is automatically reactivated in the background when you start an Office program. The license key does not have to be entered manually. This allows you to continue using older versions of Office under Windows 10.
