The internet is getting faster everywhere in Europe. However, most WLAN cards installed in computers and laptops only have a transmission rate of 300 MBit/s. A WiFi 6 router can theoretically achieve a transmission rate of 11,000 Mbps - that's more than 12 times faster than the still widely used WiFi 5 standard with a theoretical rate of up to 867 Mbps.
But you will rarely achieve more than 180 MBit/s with a WiFi-5 router. That is why WLAN cards with 300 MBit/s transmission rate have been more than sufficient up to now.
In practice, WiFi-6 Internet should end at 2400 Mbps. The first WLAN cards that achieve this transmission rate are already on the market:
