Why do we need running robots?

The world's first ready-to-go running robot is called SpotMini and will be available for purchase for everyone in a few months. Its manufacturer, the company Boston Dynamics in the US state of Massachusetts, wants to equip the devices with cameras and to use for the supervision of private terrain. You can climb stairs without tiring, so also the staircases of residential buildings run off. From 2019, they will replace workers at private security companies.

But also police and military have registered interest. The SpotMini seems to be ideally suited as a weapon carrier.
