Windows 10 update overwhelms older computers

If you have a modern computer running Windows 10, you should turn on automatic updates. This increases the safety of the device. Unfortunately, this rule does not apply to owners of older hardware. Because the new Windows 10 update (Case Creators Update, version 1709) does not support any old hardware and partially blocks older software.

Some users complain that the Fall Creators update will cause an infinite loop and block their computers. On the other hand helps:

Click Ctrl, Alt and Remove at the same time and start Task Manager. In the Task Manager, exit the Windows 10 Update Wizard. Then click on -> Settings -> Apps -> Windows 10 Update Wizard and uninstall the Windows 10 Update Wizard.

For older computers, Windows 7 will remain current until 2020 due to the problems with Windows 10. After that, however, the security updates for Windows 7 expire. This turns Windows 8.1 Professional into an insider tip. This operating system, which is unpopular in its first version, has the same user interface in version 8.1 as Windows 7, but is still supported by Microsoft until 2023.
