Free Driver Booster

The media storm surrounding the Meltdown and Spectre CPU security holes has made the public aware just how important it is to not only always use the latest browser version, but also to keep device drivers up to date. You can use a freeware tool from Ashampoo to check whether your computer is susceptible to Meltdown and Spectre. We link to this free download from our shop.

Driver Booster is one of the less powerful, but free of charge, programs which automatically scans your computer for missing or outdated drivers, before downloading and installing updated versions. We have tested it and can recommend it.
