Activate Windows 10 WIFI Hotspot

Of course we are happy to sell you our proven WIFI repeater "Plug & Surf" for less than twenty Euros. But maybe you don't need it. Because instead of spending money on an additional device, you can turn any computer or laptop with Windows 10 into a hotspot for wireless Internet.

On your Windows 10 device, click the Windows icon at the bottom left, and then click the gear. There, go to the "Network and Internet" category. Click on "Share my Internet connection with other devices" and turn this feature on or off. At "Edit" you can change the name of your hotspot and its password.

If the function cannot be activated, your Windows may not be configured correctly for setting up a mobile hotspot. Maybe you need a WIFI repeater after all ...?
